The WaveRiders have been created by Kiara. They seem Abode's wolves, with head, paws and bodies of wolves, but they have fish tails, just as the elves. However they aren't so many: females are extremely rare, and they aren't very health, so some of them died as youngs. Usually there's one, at least two, females for Generation: if there are two females, one can decide to don't be a mother, while if is one only, she obiouvsly will decide to be a Mother for the life of her species. They choose their mate personally and remain together for the life, giving birth to a new generation. They often give birth around twenty-thirty cubs. Actually, there's only a Mother still alive in the colony, IronHeart, who gave birth to three Generation as they hadn't a female. She now lives by herself with her mate Finned. In the last Generation there are two females, Atlantis and Butterfly, and Butterlfy will soon have the choice for a mate, while Atlantis seems refusing the idea of being a Mother. Often the WaveRiders die when they're cubs so all the colony has to guard their safety. Males are very rarely to fight with each other as they understand their situation isn't so easy. A fight can happen only if a female isn't sure between two males, so she leaves them to kill each other. The one who survive will be the father of a new Generation.
